NewUserLock Anywhere Cloud (Relay API)
In beta during UserLock 13.0
With UserLock Anywhere Cloud, now in beta, UserLock extends full visibility and control to machines that aren't connected to the corporate network.
This allows UserLock agents to securely communicate with the UserLock server over the Internet, without requiring a VPN or UserLock Anywhere on an IIS server.
Eliminates the off-network gap
No VPN or IIS relay required
Reduces exposure risk
Secure by design
Simple to enable
NewCertificate-based security capabilities
UserLock 13.0 introduces powerful new certificate-based authentication options that strengthen trust across both on-premises and remote environments.
UserLock SSO now supports user certificate validation, adding an extra layer of identity assurance when signing in to SaaS applications. Certificates issued by your organization’s trusted Certificate Authority can be required or validated automatically during login.
UserLock Anywhere now supports client (machine) certificate authentication as a modern alternative to NTLM. This ensures that only domain-trusted computers with valid AD-issued certificates can communicate securely with the UserLock server, future-proofing your environment as NTLM is phased out.
Together, these capabilities give IT teams stronger zero-trust identity verification and enhanced security for both users and devices, wherever they connect.
- Improved
Recovery codes and rate-limiting are more secure
UserLock’s MFA recovery codes now include 8 digits instead of 6, and rate-limiting between code attempts has been tightened.
These changes help better protect against brute-force and automated attacks.
