François Amigorena is the founder and CEO of IS Decisions, a global software company that secures access to Microsoft Windows and Active Directory environments with access management and MFA solutions. Based in Biarritz, France, François founded the company in 2000 with the vision of simplifying Active Directory access security. Today, 3,700 organizations worldwide trust IS Decisions to do just that.
A seasoned Active Directory security advocate, François has more than 30 years of experience in IT, business development, and digital security. Before becoming an entrepreneur in 1989, he began his career at IBM and at a subsidiary of Société Générale. He has since built IS Decisions into a trusted provider of access control, file auditing, and desktop reporting solutions, known for combining powerful security with usability.
François is also a frequent contributor to industry publications on topics such as Zero Trust architecture, insider threats, password policies, and user awareness in cybersecurity. An entrepreneur at heart, he remains deeply rooted in the Basque region where he lives and works, and is passionate about using innovation, communication, and education to help organizations build safer, more resilient IT environments.
